The following tables provide information on the available Sunday School Classes at St. John's United Methodist Church. A general age range, description and the room the class meets in are given. For location of the rooms, please see the maps at the bottom of the page.

3 Year Olds

A Bible based curriculum teaches our youngest disciples the stories of the Old and New Testaments.

4 year olds

Curriculum each quarter focuses on a different part of the Bible. Hands-on crafts help to reinforce the message.

Kindergarten & First Grade

This class uses curriculum quarterly to bring the message of the Bible alive. Fun activities, too!

One of our largest classes! With discussion and crafts, you won't want to miss a single Sunday!

Curriculum study with lots of discussion to make the Bible relevant to you 10 and 11 year olds.

Jr. High

A terrific class with wonderful and caring teachers that discusses scripture and current events (7th-8th grades).

Sr. High

This class of 9th-12th graders focuses on the fundamentals of being a United Methodist: prayers, presence, gifts and service. There is lots of discussion, a questions and answer time, and a little music thrown in!

Pathfinders

This class uses life applications for lessons in Christ.  They enjoy many activities outside the classroom, including retreats, socials and picnics.

HH 102

Seekers

This class made up of 50+ singles & couples, is mission-minded and also enjoys socials.  Thursday evening Bible study, and church-wide game nights on the first Friday evening of the month

ED 103

Homebuilders

Come share an hour of singing, fellowship, and study.  Extra activities include mission work and socials.  Ages range from 40 on up.  Couples and singles welcomed!

FH 102

Faith 

This outgoing and dynamic, multigenerational group studies the Gospels and their life applications.  This class is a diverse group of individuals dedicated to service and action within our Church and community.  They are also open to new members.

FLC 206

Adult Bible 

This mission-based class enjoys a time of singing and fellowship followed by a lecture from guest teachers.  Mission projects are a vital part of this group's activities.

FH 103

New Beginnings

An intergenerational class (couples and singles) concerned with personal Christian growth, Christian Faith and Christian service, through Bible study and contemporary Christian study.  Members are encouraged to share their belief and how God's grace and love affects their lives.

HH Living Room

Legacies

This is our newest class.  It is made up of young adults, both single and married.  All are welcome to visit and to join in our Bible studies, discussions and socializing.
