Nicaragua Mission Trip/Day 7/November 17, 2016

6:25 pm What a day! We have just returned from the coffee farm in the mountains. It was quite a day. The coffee is ready to be harvested and so we got to see some picking today with some of the people from the local co-op. In another week or two they will bring in pickers and the whole process will be into full swing and run for about 6 weeks. We learned a lot about coffee today. We also heard some most inspiring stories about the people of this co-op and their connection to the ministry we are here with. Again it is amazing what God is doing in and through these people. Our leader today, besides Ian, was Paul. Paul is Irish and married to Becca and they both work for the CDCA. Paul was really great and like all the other staff is very knowledgeable. He explained to us all we wanted to know about the coffee co-op and what they do. The climb to the co-op was some drive. We got stuck and had to push the bus out of the soft dirt. We all saw and experienced some very interesting things today. I will say more about that tomorrow morning. Dinner has just arrived so I need to finish and eat. There will be more later!

I will see you on the road,
Pastor Travis
