Adult Opportunities  

Chancel Choir

These volunteers give their time and talents throughout the year.  The ensemble participates weekly in worship, most often at the 11:00 a.m. service.  They hold rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  Justin Langford, director; Joan Foster, accompanist.

Men's Choir

This ensemble rehearses Wednesdays at 6:45 in the Sanctuary.  The men sing in worship and throughout the community.  Justin Langford, director; Dot Doehring, accompanist.

St. John's Players

This is an adult drama group with various activities including readers' theater, worship skits, and major productions such as Lenten plays and melodramas.  New members are welcome as actors and production assistants.  Contact the church office for more information.  Rosalyn Fisher, director.

Praise Ringers

This adult Handbell choir plays monthly for worship services and rehearses Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in FH102.  This group consists of eleven ringers (3 octaves) and membership is open only as ringing positions become available.  Karen Doughty, director.

St. John's Ringers

This adult Handbell choir rings for worship services on a monthly basis and rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in FH102.  This group has eight to twelve ringers (2 to 3 octaves) and beginners are welcome.  Karen Doughty, director.

A2J

The members of St. John's praise team offer their passion and talents to God each week in the Visions worship service.  In addition to leading worship, they go out into the community to share God's love through music.  The group rehearses on Thursdays in the FLC.  Contact Joe Mcgrath for more information.

Children's Activities

 

Cherub Choir

This beginning musical experience is for children ages three through five.  The children share their gifts in worship and fellowship opportunities occasionally during the year.  They meet on Wednesdays.

Rainbow Chorus

This choir is for children in kindergarten through the second grade.  They participate in worship two to three times a semester and meet on Wednesdays.  Joey Bryant, director.

Wesley Singers

This choir is for children in grades three through five.  They participate in worship two to three times a semester and rehearse on Wednesdays.  Justin Langford, director; Joan Foster, accompanist.
